CHALLENGE: Due to the nature of the mass product, which contains a large amount of air in a wrapper, Customer consumes large amounts of collective packaging. This also resulted in significant cost of distribution.

ACTION TAKEN:

  • Optimization of the dimensions of the packaging, construction and raw materials used for the best solutions in terms of material consumption per unit of product and optimal palletizing (-12%),
  • Structural analysis of the package for the formation of waste in the production process which raised the price of the package and at the same time did not bring any advantage to the Client (-6%)
  • Analysis and optimization of the basic parameters of the packaging has also enabled the preparation of optimal palletization (-16%).

RESULTS: 34% reduction in the cost of the purchase package. The cost to the customer – transport tests.
