CHALLENGE: The price level of external production services with a leading provider of customer exceeded the level of market prices in spite of partnership and the largest volume of orders in relation to other contractors. Poor quality of service.

ACTION TAKEN: 

  • Awareness to supplier in the field of the problem and outline expectations for the necessary changes
  • Ongoing co-operation with the supplier and the monitoring of key areas for improvement
  • Change of personnel responsible for customer service and management of operation
  • Change of service provider for temporary work
  • Reorganization of the layout of the production hall
  • Raising the standard of ergonomic positions and efficiency of the production process

RESULTS: 23% reduction in the cost of the service in its entirety freelance volume. The cost to the customer – none.
